The Hon. Harvey Spiegel, Q.C. 

Paul M. Iacono, Q.C., President, is very pleased to announce our new panelist who joins our longstanding group of Alternative Dispute Resolution professionals. The Hon. Harvey Spiegel, Q.C. will be joining the ADR panel of YorkStreet Dispute Resolution Group Inc.
effective immediately.

Prior to his appointment to the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario for the Toronto region Mr. Spiegel was considered a lawyer's lawyer. He began his career at the bar in 1962 as a sole practitioner, whose practice focused on criminal and civil litigation. In 1971 with Mendel Green Q.C., he co founded the firm of Green and Spiegel. Until his appointment to the bench, he specialized in civil litigation of all types with emphasis on personal injury, insurance and professional negligence/malpractice area, appearing as Counsel at every level of the judicial system in Ontario and in the Supreme Court of Canada and at numerous administrative tribunals.

In 1997, Mr. Spiegel was appointed to the Superior Court of Justice where he participated in every aspect of the Court’s work in particular on long complex civil trials.

Mr. Spiegel will be available to conduct mediations arbitrations and neutral evaluations.
